On 9 October, 16.00, FC Krasnodar new stadium will host its first football match – friendly game between national teams of Russia and Costa Rica. Organizers offer fans to get acquainted with entry routes to the stadium and work of public transport in the area.
— International football match has raised an outstanding interest of people. This is the first game taking place at new stadium of FC Krasnodar. For the convenience of attendees the working group on preparation and holding the event has developed an entry chart to get to the stadium before the game and an exit chart to leave the stadium area after the game. Some hours before the event start the number of trolleys and buses running the stadium route will be increased. We ask fans to use public transport instead personal autos on the match day, — acting director of the department of transport, road traffic management and environment protection of Krasnodar administration Vladimir Arkhipov said.
There will be 9 bus and 1 trolley routes in the stadium area — totally about one hundred items of rolling stock transporting approximately 2,5 thousand people per hour. To get to the stadium one can by buses № 46; 51; 78; 45; 47; 48; 58; 62; 101A and trolley №11.
Passengers’ getting off public transport is provided in Vostochno-Kruglikovskaya Street in the area of terminal trolley stop by “Vostochno-Kruglikovskiy” market. This road section is under reconstruction now — the work is closely to be accomplished.
Personal cars movement to the stadium will be organized from streets 40-let Pobedy and Tikhoretskaya in the direction to General Troshev Street. After football match car owners will be able to move from the parking situated at General Troshev Street to streets 40-let Pobedy and Tikhoretskaya. If necessary, one-way traffic in exit direction will be organized.
From backside of the stadium along General Troshev Street there is asphalted parking with capacity for 2 500 automobiles. One reserved car parking is provided nearby.
The construction of new FC Krasnodar stadium was started in 2013. Major sports venue can host nearly 33 thousand spectators. The stadium will be one of the most splendid, functional and up-to-date stadiums of the world. The football pitch is built with the use of most advanced technologies, and along the entire perimeter of the venue there is a gigantic media screen. Technical specifications of the stadium allow it to host matches of any UEFA and FIFA tournaments.
The first game of FC Krasnodar at its new stadium is planned to be held on 20 October 2016 in the third round of the group stage UEFA Europa League against the German Schalke 04.
