Today official ceremony of new fountains opening near to “Avrora” cinema happened in Krasnodar. During entertainment program they “did a dance” to background music. The event was participated by Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov and Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko.
— Technical testing of fountains systems was carried out in the first half of August. And at the present moment these fountains go before Krasnodar citizens and guests in all beauty and at full performance. By this breathtaking water performance we give an official start to City Day celebrations. We have anticipated the completion of final stage of Krasnaya Street boulevard reconstruction eagerly. This is a remarkable and one of the most favourite places in city, and of course, having improved the territory and opened the fountains it looks now in a new light – picturesque and well-conditioned. I think it is wonderful City Day present, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
Krasnodar administration department of culture jointly with creative association “Premiere” prepared a concert program dedicated to this momentous event. Organizers explained that they had set an evening time for the ceremony because this time highlighting of jets of water looks most beautifully.
Thousands citizens and city guests came to take a look at starting of new fountain complex. Representatives of foreign delegations having arrived in Krasnodar to take part in city’s 221st birthday celebrations were also in attendance. Most numerous delegations are from sister cities Karlsruhe (Germany) and Harbin (P. R. China).
— Even tomorrow large scale people’s open air celebrations will begin. Tonight’s opening of fountain complex is a preliminary event of our most significant holiday. There is no doubt that the complex beautifies Krasnaya Street and it is to be proud of. I wish those here present a good humor, happiness and all the best, positive emotions given us by this remarkable enchanting spectacle, — Vera Galushko said.
On a signal of Krasnodar Head “Switch on the fountain!” its foamy jets shot up in coloured beams of LED lamps.
During the concert program “Avrora” fountains “did a dance” to background music, in particular music of Giuseppe Verdi (La Traviata), Gioachino Rossini (Tarantella Napoletana), Georges Bizet (Carmen) and Alexander Borodin (the Polovtsian Dances from the opera Prince Igor).
The construction of two fountains – the plane one in front of “Avrora” and cascade consisting of three bowls in central part of boulevard at Krasnodar Street was carried out by OJSC “FontanGrad”. Technical testing of fountains work has been conducted since the end of July. During the trials specialists have tuned fountains to work to certain music.
According to the statement of “FontanGrad”, repertoire of new fountains will include 15 melodies; more than 10 have been already tuned. By the example of dynamically lit fountain at Theatre Square classical music is in preference.
In the following new fountain complex will function according to schedule which is now in development.
It is to be recalled that by order of Vladimir Evlanov beginning from August 8 workers started to dismantle fencing around reconstructed area along Krasnaya Street near to “Avrora” cinema.
