Today physical training activity for 2013 was discussed in the course of working meeting in Krasnodar administration.
— We aim to attract as many children and youth to physical training as possible. Exactly for this purpose we construct sports facilities: swimming pools, sport and fitness complexes, multifunctional sports grounds. The construction of swimming pool in Yubileinyy microdistrict is supposed to be accomplished till the end of this summer, sports complex in Novoznamenskiy microdistrict will be commissioned in June, — Vladimir Evlanov stated.
As chief of the department of physical training and sports Andrey Brizhak said during operational meeting, 737 physical training collectives including 53 establishments of additional education for children of which 28 physical culture schools, 21 sports training centres, 106 general education institutions and other organizations currently function in Krasnodar.
The past year Kuban capital hosted over 7700 mass sporting and fitness and health recreation events which were participated by more than 673 thousand people of them 553 thousand children and teenagers.
308,4 thousand people systematically go in for sports in Krasnodar that makes 35,4% of all city’s population.
In 2013 though the program “Capital city image to Krasnodar” 4 multifunctional sports grounds have been constructed within schools’ territories. Presently specialists design sports and health complex in Starokorsunskaya village, a stadium along Vavilova Street and a swimming pool along Sormovskaya Street within the territory of school № 20.
