During today’s operational meeting held in Krasnodar City administration the results of fight against squatter development in the past year as well as long term plans were discussed.
— This year should become a landmark, crucial year in suppression of illegal construction activity. We must deracinate the erection of apartment houses without relevant authorization documents and to the maximum reduce the quantity of illegal commercial facilities, garages, stands and kiosks, — Vladimir Evlanov set the task.
According to the information provided by acting chief of the department of municipal control Maxim Bondarev, in 2014 judicial authorities received 764 lawsuits the prevailing number (346) of which was about demand to vacate the arbitrarily occupied land parcels, 44 suits about the demolition of apartment houses.
The past year the department of municipal control received 10 thousand 650 complaints from citizens and organizations. In all cases the department specialists visited sites and maintained land control.
Municipal authorities together with officers of justice did 125 raids for the prevention of works at objects of illegal construction in respect of which an order for ban on construction activity had been issued by the court.
Along with prohibition measures, Vladimir Evlanov gave the task to conduct explanatory work in order people to know what documents are required for legal construction and for the start of construction works.
— Citizens should know what documents are necessary, in what agencies and the time frame they must be provided. We have to set the perfect order in that question at the territory of Krasnodar, — Vladimir Evlanov stated.
