Around two hundred enterprises of Krasnodar took part in forum “The days of small and medium-sized businesses in Kuban capital — 2014” opened today in Kuban EXPOCENTRE.
— From long ago the forum has approved one’s worth as an efficient business platform for meetings of city’s and regional employers, demonstration of products, works and services of enterprises of all economy branches. Over 65 thousand entities of small and medium-sized businesses work in Krasnodar, number of employed in small and medium-sized businesses is almost 300 thousand people. These are excellent indicators however our task remains the same — to strengthen presence of small and medium-sized businesses, help them to establish new business contacts, more actively integrate them in social and economic development of the city, — Deputy Head of Krasnodar Sergey Vasin said in the course of opening ceremony.
He also attracted forum participants’ attention to major efforts on creation of the single architectural style of Krasnodar and appealed for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses to take an active part in this work.
The forum ceremonial opening was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of Krasnodar Region, chief of the department of rural areas development Ivan Doroshev, director of the department of economic development, investments and external affairs Elena Vasilchenko, chairwoman of the committee on economic, trade, agriculture and business activity matters of Krasnodar city Duma Natalia Alsheva, chief of the department of industrial and agricultural development Ivan Chernomaz.
This forum is held in Krasnodar the sixth time. An exposition took 1200 square meters of the exhibition complex where stands of enterprises of food industry, industrial production, banks, cafés and restaurants, hotels and other small and medium-sized businesses working at the territory of the city are presented.
Work of counseling centres on topical questions regarding organization and conducting of business activity, conferences “Topical questions regarding municipal procurements”, “Innovative approach to the development of agriculture and production in Krasnodar suburb”, “Car service industry — modern point of growth of regional economy”, “Financial, property and informational support of business activity in Krasnodar Region” as well as topical workshops, round tables and masterclasses will be on the programme of forum.
Nowadays 65 thousand entities of small and medium-sized businesses function at the territory of Krasnodar, among them 129 — medium-sized enterprises, 21436 — small enterprises and 43930 — private entrepreneurs. Small and medium-sized businesses in Krasnodar make almost a half of revenues of all economic entities of the city.
Number of employed people in small and medium-sized enterprises in Krasnodar city municipal formation has reached 229 927. In the first quarter of 2014 turnover of small and medium-sized business entities made 41,1% of all economic entities total turnover in municipal formation.
