Today in a festive atmosphere Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov and Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko presented the keys to a new housing to orphaned children. For this purpose in 2015 Krasnodar’s authorities purchased newly built apartments in Znamenskiy microdistrict.

It is particularly cheerful that such a remarkable present is made on the threshold of the New Year – our major holiday. I’m sure that new apartments will bring comfort in your life and family establishing. May the happiness and joy go with you in all doings in new apartments, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
Krasnodar’s Mayor stated that the apartments for orphaned children were bought within the framework of regional target program “Children of Kuban” which began in 2009. The apartments are situated in two newly built houses in Gagarina Street of Znamenskiy microdistrict.
In the course of solemn ceremony Vladimir Evlanov and Vera Galushko granted the keys to 88 future owners of new flats. Among them are 18 families with children, two families have four children. The youngest participant of the festive event is 18 and the eldest one is 44. At the meeting it was also underlined that children’s and sports grounds, social infrastructure facilities are located within easy reach from these two houses.
Every year the ceremony of granting apartment keys to orphaned children is held in Krasnodar before the New Year Holiday. During regional program “Children of Kuban” 428 apartments have been purchased for orphaned children in Krasnodar since 2009, including 34 apartments in 2009, 30 in 2011, 36 in 2012, 216 in 2013 and 112 in 2014.
