An execution of local budget beginning from the start of the year and for the period 1-16 January was summarized at today’s operational meeting held in Krasnodar City administration. Vladimir Evlanov ordered to work very hard on reducing arrears regarding all kinds of revenues.
— There is so little time until the end of this year, so all responsible and controlling structures are required to make utmost efforts to comply with plan indicators and so that we could successfully close current financial year. It must be possible to fully finance all planned costs — social sphere in the first place, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
According to municipal department of finances, from 1st to 6th December own revenues of the local budget amounted to over 600 mln roubles, from the start of the year — nearly 12,4 bln roubles (11,7 bln roubles against the same period in 2013).
As to the latest information, tax payments arrears alone exceed 1 billion roubles. At that, municipal treasury lacks about 700 mln roubles in land tax revenues.
Krasnodar authorities have developed schemes of working with debtors to budgets of different levels. The work involves city and district interdepartmental commissions on financial recovery of enterprises, improvement of payments system and reduction of tax and fees arrears in the budget of the city.
