Evgeny Pervyshov met with students of Kuban State University (KubSU)

Head of the capital of Kuban visited Kuban State University, became acquainted with projects of students of Architecture and Design Faculty, attended the Nanotechnology Center, toured the sports base of the university and answered students ' questions during a meeting with the student group in assembly hall.

— Today we are forming a new strategy for the city development, determine the direction in which it will move within the next 10-15 years, and opinion of the students is very important for us. I'm sure, your participation in the development of many urban projects can deliver benefits to Krasnodar. I encourage you to actively participate in all our affairs, including the work of public Council on strategic development and priority projects. It is important for us to involve youth in the process of rendering city-wide decisions, — Evgeny Pervyshov said when opening the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Kuban State University Rector Mikhail Astapov, teachers, students of Faculties of Architecture and Design, State and Municipal Governance, Art and Graphic, Philology, Economics, Law and the Faculty of Management and Psychology.

The students asked Head of Krasnodar a wide range of questions relating to traffic management, parking, use the tourism potential of the city, suburban settlements gasification, creation of new parks and recreational areas.

— Now we are working on finding land for a new park, we are also taking an inventory of land plots along the Karasun ponds to create a recreational zone. I think we will be able to take significant steps in this direction this year, especially since it was declared the year of ecology in Russia, — Evgeny Pervyshov said.

The meeting also touched the questions of implementation of aboveground metro in Krasnodar, completing the reconstruction of Aurora cinema, putting the building of circus and territory around it in order and the construction of a storm water sewage and storm water drain networks.

Students of the university presented Head of the city a fleece jacket and t-shirt with the logo of Kuban State University.
