The international LEISURE Exhibition is held from 19 to 21 September at the central exhibition Complex "Expocenter" of the Russian capital. Krasnodar presents its tourism opportunities as a member of the joint exposition of Krasnodar Region.
"At the LEISURE Exhibition Krasnodar is represented by enterprises and organizations of the tourism industry of the city — Tourism Information Center, Pedagogical Center "Holidays", Krasnodar balneary, hotels of the city. We are confident that the participation of the Krasnodar delegation in international exhibition will increase the tourist flow, establish new business contacts with partners, create conditions for the effective development of the tourism industry, promote internationally the image of the city as an attractive city for tourists," was commented in the city department of economic development, investments and external relations.
In addition to Krasnodar, the joint stand prepared by the Ministry of Resorts, Tourism and the Olympic heritage of Krasnodar Region also give presentations of tour operators from the Tuapse District, Sochi, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik and Goryachi Klyuch. The delegation of Krasnodar Region is led by the Minister of Resorts, Tourism and the Olympic Heritage of the region Christopher Konstantinidi.
The exhibition provides a rich business program that includes press conferences, presentations of new trends and services, seminars and master classes. The Krasnodar delegation, inter alia, participated in a seminar on the development of business tourism, in conferences dealing with the peculiarities of the development of gastronomy and on-farm tourism in the regions of Russia and also held a number of important meetings and negotiations.
Along with that, at the exhibition there was a presentation of the municipal budgetary institution Tourism Information Center (TIC), which opened in Krasnodar this year. Krasnodar party concluded cooperation agreements with similar centres of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Pskov, Tula, Voronezh, Tver, Kostroma, Penza, Sevastopol, Maikop, Vologda and Pskov regions, Perm and the Chechen Republic.
LEISURE exhibition is the largest international tourism exhibition in Russia, which is in the top five over the world, and is rightfully recognized by the international tourism community. It serves as a forum for the business of tourism industry professionals, the presentation of new programs and trends of the industry.
