On May 23 the Cathedral Square of Kuban capital will host an exhibition of over 40 tourist objects, including an improvised tea plantations, graperies and vineyards, individual backyards.
— Agritourism is a new direction for our region which recently gains momentum. The exhibition will give representatives of tourist industry and vacationers themselves a view of new opportunities of the region. The project will show with an example that any resident of big cities can get away from city fuss for several days and experience hasteless life of Kuban rural areas, — Deputy Director of the department of economic development, investments and external affairs Andrey Britchenko said.
The exhibition organizers are regional Ministry of health-resort and tourism, Krasnodar Region Legislative Assembly and regional Ministry of agriculture and processing industry.
The event will be participated by representatives of the largest tourism operators of the South of Russia, residents and guests of the capital of Kuban.
As envisioned by the organizers, it is exactly agrarian tourism that allows guests of Kuban to get better understanding of rich Kuban history and traditions of peoples inhabiting Krasnodar Region.
By visiting peasant farm enterprises and individual backyards tourists can get in touch with a daily life and traditions of Kuban families as well as have the opportunity with one’s hands to do milking or plant a vegetable bed. All people who want will be able to explore the work at tea plantation and pick off just bloomed leaves of a tea bush.
Prior to the fair “AgroTUR-2015” in Krasnodar, Ministry of health-resort and tourism will organize two-day information tour of enterprises and facilities of rural tourism.
