— The memorial plaque will be attached to the house at Bershanskaya Street, 210 where the great Russian artist Ilya Repin stayed for a while. Also we propose to install a memorial plaque in honour of Sergey Zaboev, captain of internal military forces, pilot navigator who has fallen in the line of duty at the territory of Chechen Republic, — Chairman of the City Duma Committee for Local Self-Government Zorik Sadoyan said.
Zorik Sadoyan explained that the prominent Russian artist stayed in a public inn of Pashkovskaya village. This was the house of Cossack Sotnichenko where he created etudes to his painting “The Zaporozhian Cossacks write a letter to the Sultan of Turkey”.
The memorial plaque in honour of Sergey Zaboev will be installed at the building of Krasnodar Machine Building College at Krasnaya St. 186. Heroic pilot graduated from this educational institution in 1983. After that he entered the Saratov Higher Air Force Academy. Sergey Zaboev — Knight of Order of Courage, pilot navigator of combat helicopter died in August 1996 shattering assaults of terrorists while their attempting to capture the city of Grozny.
