The meeting was dedicated to the work of regional headquarters for the development and land improvement of Krasnodar.
— Kuban Governor Alexander Tkachev set the task to improve Krasnodar and match it with the single architectural style by the example of Olympic Sochi. Given that Krasnodar is the regional center and it is necessary to involve efforts of different levels governmental agencies including federal and regional ones to solve complex tasks of Krasnodar land development it is no accident that the headquarters has obtained a regional status. The fact that Krasnodar Region Vice-Governor Dzhambulat Khatuov chairs the headquarters gives structure a special status and let quickly and efficiently solving all arising questions, — Vladimir Evlanov said when opening press conference.
The meeting with journalists was also participated by Deputy Head of Krasnodar Sergey Vasin, director of the department of architecture and city construction Igor Mazurok, acting director of the department of construction Alexander Madovskiy, chief of the department of trade and consumer services Irina Kosinkova.
The city’s Head emphasized that specialists have carried through a great work — the main city’s highways, entry routes and quarters of historical center had been examined by now. Sanitary order is imposed there as well as redundant advertisement is removed and notices of necessity to put commercial premises to the single architectural style are given to businessmen.
— The examination results showed numerous violations of land use and development rules, in particular — shops, service stations and car wash stations situate at private land which is dedicated to individual housing construction. This entire sphere has to be reduced to a distinct order — this also relates to the single architectural style of the city, - Vladimir Evlanov said.
Responding the questions of mass media representatives Krasnodar Head underlined that numerous half-constructed buildings around the city also spoil its architectural look. Owners of these territories are invited to headquarters sessions to solve questions of construction continuation. Through court action municipality tries to take ownership of some of objects, e.g. uncompleted “castle” at the territory of 30th anniversary of Victory Park to make of it in prospect, for example, the gallery of art.
During press conference mayor also answered the questions regarding advertisement ordering, facades overhauling and distributive services putting to rights.
