The possibility of construction a transport bridge over Kuban River was discussed in Krasnodar

At the operational meeting chaired by First Deputy Head of Krasnodar Alexander Mikheev specialists of Krasnodar administration deliberated the proposals of shopping centre “MEGA-Adygeya” on the creation of bridge crossings over Kuban River.

— Today’s agenda suggests the consideration of possible variant of creation bridge crossings over Kuban River. It is important to note that the whole scope of works – from the designing stage to construction will be executed at the expense of investors. Our task is to learn about the provided variants and determine which one is the best suited for the city in the context of infrastructure development and the protection of citizens’ interests, — Chief architect of Krasnodar Igor Mazurok said.

The meeting was participated by Deputy Head of Krasnodar Evgeny Naumov, Director of the department of economic development, investments and external affairs Elena Vasilchenko, representatives of investing companies.

 It is supposed that a foot bridge will be situated within the Park of 30th anniversary of Victory that is also stipulated by the conditions of Krasnodar’s General Plan. Shopping centre “MEGA-Adygeya” is going to double its shopping floor space and intend to develop transport and footway connection with Krasnodar at its own expense.

At the meeting participants deliberated on a matter of the location of transport pass ways over Kuban River. It should be noted that the General Plan of Krasnodar stipulates three pass ways. To subject the question to the public gaze it was decided to prepare comparative variants with the detailed technical and economic indicators.

Given that the facility affects the interests of two constituent entities of the RF – Krasnodar Region and the Republic of Adygeya — the location of construction bridge crossings will be examined for compliance with land-use planning schemes of Krasnodar Region and the Republic of Adygeya and corresponding amendments to the General Plan of Krasnodar will be made.

After the decision for construction will have been taken all the provided variants will be brought up for wide public discussion — there will be meetings of citizens and public hearings. All the materials will be made available to the public in the Internet. At that new bridge crossings will be constructed necessarily with due consideration to the opinion of citizens.
