Following the results of 9 months 2013 Kuban capital is ahead of other constituent entities in Southern Federal District according to 18 out of 30 indicators in sphere of social and economic development.
– Arranged with other capital cities of SFD regions comparative analysis within the framework of information exchange allow making an estimate of competitive strength of Krasnodar economy and evaluate position of regional center in comparison with the other major cities of the country’s South – one commented in the department of economic development, investments and external affairs.
Comparative analysis of the main indicators of social and economic development between Krasnodar and other administrative centers of SFD – Rostov-on-Don, Maikop, Volgograd, Elista and Astrakhan is fulfilled in the city administration on a quarterly basis. Data of the Federal State Statistics Service are taken as a basis for the analysis.
According to the statistics in the period from January to September 2013 Kuban capital is in the lead in Southern Federal District among other cities by 18 indices. Particularly, Krasnodar takes the lead in growth rates of local budget revenues execution (compared with the same period in 2012 growth made 111,7%), growth rates of volume of shipped goods of own production, completed works and services of large and medium-size enterprises (manufacturing activity) – 111,6%.
Also Krasnodar leads in sphere of commissioning of residential houses through all sources of financing (944,6 thousand sq.m. within 9 months) and by amount of commissioned houses per 1 thousand Krasnodar residents – 1084,3 sq.m.
In January-September 2013 Krasnodar is marked with the lowest level of unemployment – 0,2% (Rostov-On-Don (2nd) – 0,31%) and the highest average monthly salary at large and medium-size enterprises – 32,7 ths. rubles.
Kuban capital leads in accordance with the level of investment activity – over 207 billion rubles were attracted during 9 months and volume of fixed capital expenditures of large and medium-size enterprises per capita – 237,9 thousand rubles. The second place (Astrakhan) has 60,4 billion rubles and 114,5 thousand rubles per capita correspondingly.
Comparative analysis has been carried out by the city administration since 1998. Presently, evaluation of factors of social and economic development of Krasnodar is conducted in comparison with other capital cities of SFD constituent entities: Rostov, Astrakhan and Volgograd Regions and Republics of Kalmykia and Adygea. Findings for carrying-out of the analysis are provided by territorial bodies of Federal State Statistics Service in each region of SFD.
