Today’s operational meeting held in Krasnodar City Hall was dedicated to the matters of employees’ safety and health protection and conclusion of collective bargain agreements in enterprises and organizations. Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov appealed for employers to be more responsible in creation of favorable and safe working conditions for staff members and cooperation with labour collectives.
— In spite of permanent attention to the topic, employment accidents including those with lethal outcome at city enterprises are still happening. This raises the question whether the safety procedures are properly observed or not and how the workplaces are organized. There are also difficulties with collective bargain agreements — employers are not willing to conclude them. The situation is unacceptable. Interests of working people must be protected to the fullest possible extent. This will be demanded from all business units, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
Chiefs of enterprises and organizations where fatal casualties took place in this year and with no collective bargain agreements were invited to attend the meeting.
