Presenting annual report on Krasnodar administration work in 2015 Vladimir Evlanov reiterated the necessity of state investments in the development of Kuban capital infrastructure.
— It is a challenging time now, all of Kuban municipal districts require regional administration attention, but all the same the capital of Kuban needs particular concernment. Firstly, the city situation affects tremendous number of residents of Krasnodar Region — every fifth Kuban resident live and work in Krasnodar. Secondly, Krasnodar is a donor city that is severely deprived of state investments. There may be special-purpose programmes or targeted projects, no other way. We will never asphalt 800 km of dirt and gravel roads, get rid the city of traffic jams, develop public transport, not to mention social sphere, the construction of schools and kindergartens without funding from regional budget, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
Head of Krasnodar underlined that the capital of Kuban needs significant state investments, the more especially as it makes essential part of the consolidated budget of Krasnodar Region — nearly 40 percent. Thus, during the past year regional consolidated budget received about 70 billion roubles from Krasnodar — this is 37 percent of the whole regional exchequer.
According to the latest information of Federal Migration Service over 1 mln 110 ths people have been registered in Krasnodar and by the city Head’s opinion all the calculations should be made proceeding from this indicator.
