Alexander Tkachev: Such a large-scale city land improvement has never been in contemporary history of Krasnodar

During the session held in Krasnodar City administration Kuban Governor summed up the results of working tour around regional center and analyzed the work of regional headquarters for the development and land improvement of Kuban capital.

— Such a large-scale land improvement of Krasnodar hasn’t been in the city for over twenty years. Upon completion of Olympic Games in Sochi we gave priority to the development of Kuban capital. Regional headquarters for the development and land improvement of Kuban capital was created on my degree. In whole, the city makes rather good and positive impression, however it is to be better. Today citizens told me that Krasnodar is getting more comfortable for living and this, I think, is the best estimate. I’m sure that well-coordinated work of regional, municipal services and business community will be successfully continued, — Alexander Tkachev said.

The working meeting was also participated by first Vice-Governor of Krasnodar Region Dzhambulat Khatuov, the city Head Vladimir Evlanov, Regional Minister for construction, architecture and road facilities Valery Zhukov, main architect of Krasnodar Region Yuri Rysin, Deputy Heads of Krasnodar, Heads of urban districts.

— We are in great force. Applying of Olympic best practices in Krasnodar gives positive results. We will do our best until all things in all areas of city’s activity will be put in order. The capital of Kuban is divided into zones of responsibility with Krasnodar administration staff members assigned to each one. We will involve new streets and objects into renovation and land improvement, — Vladimir Evlanov said.

Alexander Tkachev ordered regional headquarters for the development and reconstruction of Krasnodar to pay special attention to quality of work of contracting and subcontracting organizations, not to disregard the city markets cleaning-up.       

— We should use new species of wood including evergreen coniferous ones in landscaping of the city. Pilot projects of such landscaping will by applied at Kubanskaya Naberezhnaya Street and Yubileynyy microdistrict, — Vice-Governor of Krasnodar Region, Chief of regional headquarters for the development and land improvement of Krasnodar Dzhambulat Khatuov said.

Over 8 kilometers of fencing elements of new standard have been installed since the start of regional headquarters operation. Faces of hundreds houses have been renovated. 17 project organizations are involved in the work on giving new architectural style to the city. Now they are working on forming of new style for 20 streets. More than 25 thousand illegal advertising constructions have been uninstalled in Krasnodar.

— We’ve achieved an important point – Krasnodar citizens don’t stand aside of these considerable changes. We have to tell people about city’s future. We will continue our work to improve quality of life in Kuban capital and direct new recourses for beautification and development of the city, — Alexander Tkachev summed up the discussion.
