Before the start of plenary meeting the Prime Minister of the RF made a tour of the exhibition halls of the Russian investment forum in Sochi and acquainted with the exposition of Krasnodar Region and Krasnodar. At the stand of the Kuban capital Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov told Dmitry Medvedev about the implementation of alternative means of transportation— aerial cableway.
"I've already heard about this project. For Krasnodar and the southern cities it is a good option. The climate allows it. This could work. The main thing is that cableway is not associated with ground traffic. The project is suitable for Krasnodar, it's interesting. You need to think about everything, including safety issues. Try it," said Dmitry Medvedev.
The exposition of Krasnodar Region was presented to the Russian Prime Minister by the Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev. The Mayor of the regional center Evgeny Pervushov told Dmitry Medvedev about the exposition of Krasnodar, which this year is decorated in the form of one of the city's main attractions — the Alexander triumphal arch.
On the multimedia screen they observed the details of the investment project on creation of the system of cableway. Evgeny Pervyshov told about the main parameters. The length of the lines will be about 32 km. Cable cars with a capacity up to 40 people will be to move along the lines.
"In particular, this project is interesting for the well-known Austrian firm Doppelmayr — a recognized world leader in the field of construction and maintenance of cableways," said Evgeny Pervyshev.
Dmitry Medvedev noted that it is also important to explore the possibilities of production of components and equipment for the construction of the cableways inside the country.
Krasnodar delegation for the second consecutive year takes part in the Russian investment forum in Sochi held on 15 and 16 February. At the forum the Krasnodar delegation is headed by the Mayor of the capital of Kuban Evgeny Pervyshev.
