The renovated Vishnyakovsky garden square of Krasnodar is open for visits

In one of the main city garden squares comprehensive landscaping works within the priority federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" have been completed. The Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov visited the renovated square and estimated the scale of the made work.

"For many years this garden square was in a state of neglect, it was even hidden behind the fence. Now it is completely transformed. And if we compare what was and what is now, it really became a completely new beautiful area for all the residents of the city. It became possible to bring the garden square in order thanks to the federal project on the formation of a comfortable urban environment. And we will continue to participate in the project next year to renovate other green areas in the city," said Evgeny Pervyshov.

Vishnyakovsky garden square was also visited by the Chairwoman of the City Duma Vera Galushko, Deputy Head of the city Evgeny Zimenko, chief architect of Krasnodar Igor Mazurok, Head of the Central urban district administration Elena Malova.

In accordance with the approved project, the complex landscaping in the garden square was carried out on the area of about 1.6 hectares. At the preparatory stage the old asphalt pavement and curbs were dismantled in the park. Then landscaping specialists began to form walkways, lawns and flowerbeds.

Evgeny Pervyshov passed through the territory of the park, assessed the landscaping works.

"Even now the garden square is noticeably changed, and really we can appreciate it in the spring, when the flowers at flowerbeds and the trees will bloom. The landscaping is done at a high level. Vishnyakovsky garden square has become a beautiful and cozy area," said Evgeny Pervyshov.

In the course of the landscaping works in the park specialists formed flowerbeds, laid 10 thousand  sq. m. lawn, created a rosary, along the perimeter of which planted 670 bushes of roses.

Vishnyakovsky square was founded in 1925. It is located at the intersection of the streets of Stavropolskaya and Vishnyakovoy in Krasnodar. This garden square was named by the decision of the City Duma of Krasnodar on February 28, 2013.
