78% citizens don’t want to move out from Krasnodar

Within the framework of annual report Vladimir Evlanov cited results of sociological studies regarding citizen’s perception of living conditions in Krasnodar. Three-quarter respondents expressed satisfaction with them.

— I guess that this is a high rating of our work and at the same time is an enormous responsibility. We are obliged to arrange Krasnodar to be a place of applying of efforts and skills of its citizens. Moreover the city should attract active and creative people from other places, — Krasnodar Head said.

Studies of citizen’s perception of living conditions in Krasnodar have been conducted nearly month ago. About 1 thousand regional center citizens responded to the questions of sociologists. Findings are published in a special edition of “Krasnodar Izvestiya” newspaper.

Particularly, these studies found out that:

• three-quarter citizens are encouraged with their lives in Krasnodar;
• 55 percent made a declaration of love to the city;
• one in three respondents declared Krasnodar to be the best city in Russia;
• over 30 % survey participants said that they take pride in living in Krasnodar;
• 78 percent citizens don’t want to move out from Krasnodar to somewhere even though this opportunity would be afforded them.

Annual report of Vladimir Evlanov “On results of one’s activity and results of activity of administration of Krasnodar City municipal formation in 2013” became the major item on the agenda of the 62nd extended session of Krasnodar City Duma.

The open session of City Duma is participated by Kuban Governor Alexander Tkachev, the first Vice-Governor of Krasnodar Region Dzhambulat Khatuov, Krasnodar Region Legislative Assembly and Krasnodar City Duma deputies, chiefs of branch and territorial departments of city’s administration, representatives of law-enforcement agencies, enterprises and organizations of regional center and a wide public. Every attendee received a suite of documents including detailed report of the main social and economic lines of city’s life in 2013.
