Нistoric reenactment was showed in Krasnodar

The first time ever in the city large-scale historical reenactment of liberation battles in Krasnodar happened in February 1943 was showed today in «Sunny Island» park.

— Citizens of Krasnodar bow their heads to memory of died and hold heroic feats of liberators in veneration. I would like to express obeisance, the deepest appreciation and honor to all who defended Krasnodar and built up the city after it had been destroyed. Their feat is an immortal example of the service to the motherland and its people. The farther those heroic days go from us, the sharper we see a point and scale of the feat. So Krasnodar liberation day is forever in our minds, — Head of Karasunskiy urban district administration Nikolay Khropov addressed to the attendees.

The event was participated by more than thousand citizens: the Great Patriotic War veterans, members of public military-patriotic and searching associations, pupils and students.

Some episodes of sanguinary battles for Krasnodar liberation which took place at Pashkovskaya river crossing were recreated in the course of this historic reenactment. Given by boys from historical fencing club performance was organized by the means of regional branch of Voluntary Association for Assistance to Army, Air Force and Navy of Russia in Krasnodar Region, Krasnodar regional public military-patriotic organization «Association of searching groups «Kubanpoisk» with the support of Krasnodar local branch of «United Russia» party.

For the vividness of performed events organizers used pyrotechnic effects and military uniforms after the fashion of February 1943. Participators by themselves sewed their uniform in accordance with provided museum designs.

As previously reported, today the ceremony of flowers and wreaths laying to «Fascism victims» memorial in honor of Krasnodar liberation took place in Chistyakovskaya grove.
