Evgeny Pervyshov participated in the packaging of "People's lunches" for low-income families of Krasnodar

In the capital of Kuban a workshop of grocery baskets packaging  started working on October 11. This is All-Russian volunteer project of the Food Fund "Rus", which is implemented in the regional centre with the support of Krasnodar administration. The Mayor of the city took part in the packaging of the first batch of "People's lunches".

"People's lunch" is a project that is already working in our country. It has proved its efficiency — the project does good and help people. This charitable program is now starting in our city. I thank all the organizers, participants and volunteers of this important social project. I hope the packaging workshop will work continuously and help those people in need," said Evgeny Pervyshov.

The Chief of the Food Fund Victoria Krisko, Deputy Mayor of Krasnodar Liliana Yegorova, Chairman of the Krasnodar City public organization "Union of large families "Kuban family" Svetlana Nedilko, director for external communications of the KFC Russia and CIS Ilya Politkovsky took part in the opening of the workshop and the first packaging. KFC is a network of fast food restaurants that supports a charitable project in Krasnodar and Krasnodar Region.

The Chief of the Food Fund "Rus" Victoria Krisko described the mission, tasks and work plans of the organization in the capital of Kuban. People's lunch project is being impelemented entirely on a volunteer basis. The regular workers of the packaging workshop will be volunteers from among the citizens, including representatives of the social organization "Union of large families "Kuban family".

The most important thing is that the grocery baskets we give are not a one-off event. The support to the project will be provided on a regular basis. This is a matter of principle, because if a family is in a difficult situation, it is necessary to help regularly. The launch of a permanently working food packaging workshop in Krasnodar is an opportunity to provide assistance at all times, and to engage new partners. We also want to develop and strengthen a culture of social assistance among people," said Victoria Krisko.
