Vladimir Evlanov received representatives of METRO Cash & Carry in Krasnodar

In Krasnodar City Hall there was a meeting dedicated to the construction of the second small-scale wholesale centre METRO in Krasnodar.

— In current economic environment we welcome the creation additional opportunities for the development of small and medium-sized businesses. Small-scale wholesale centres METRO Cash & Carry are focused on this segment. The project implementation gives the city new jobs, increases the tax base and spurs business development, — Vladimir Evlanov said.

The meeting was participated by Chief architect of the city Igor Mazurok, Deputy Chief of the department of economic development, investments and external affairs Andrey Britchenko, Chief of the department of trade and consumer services Irina Kosinkova, METRO Cash & Carry LLC expansion director Alena Elshina.

The project investments will amount to about 20 mln euros, its implementation will bring Krasnodar nearly 60 mln roubles tax liabilities per year and 200 new jobs.

To the present time METRO Cash & Carry is already occupied with the design works and develops transportation access system on a land plot in Karasunskiy urban district (by the side of OZ Mall shopping centre).

As it has been reported exploratory talks on this project implementation were held within the framework of International Investment Forum «Sochi-2015».
