Today a session of municipal anti-terrorist commission chaired by First Deputy Head of Krasnodar Alexander Mikheev took place in Krasnodar City Hall.
— Our main task is to provide security at residential areas and public places. Citizens and guests of Krasnodar should be confident and feel secure. Comprehensive set of measures taken must be backed with awareness-raising activities, — Alexander Mikheev underlined.
The composition of municipal anti-terrorist commission has been renewed — now, along with chiefs of law-enforcement agencies and power structures the commission includes all Deputy Heads of Krasnodar instead of chiefs of structural subdivisions of Krasnodar administration.
During the session participants reviewed the results of checks for safety at public places and venues of compulsory police protection.
According to law-enforcement coordination department of Krasnodar administration over thirty objects have been examined. All of them are classified by number of visitors and have safety certificates. The provision of the facilities with necessary video surveillance and communication systems as well as information stands displaying evacuation maps during emergencies and telephone numbers of emergency services is about to be completed.
Special attention was focused on the protection of areas which are densely inhabited. Specialists of the department of communal services, fuel and energy sector together with chiefs of managing companies checked high-rise buildings for unhindered access of maintenance specialists to communal utility networks.
To prevent fires and terrorist actions threat attic floors, basements and mechanical floors are provided with locking devices. The overwhelming majority of doors into entrance halls of high-rise buildings have door phones or coded locks.
Additionally, during the session the commission members reviewed violations of immigration laws and also the progress of their suppression. Particularly, participants said that high-rise buildings residents themselves should take interest in neighbours who use their flats as hotel rooms.
