Vladimir Evlanov took part in opening of “Kuban fair-2013”

Today annual regional agroindustrial exhibition started working within the territory of hippodrome. At the opening ceremony Head of Krasnodar greeted guests and participators of the fair.

— It is very notable for us that such large-scale exhibition is held in our city. On behalf of Kuban capital citizens I would like to thank organizers and all participators of the fair who brought their production in Krasnodar. It is prominent and awaited event for the city; it provides the possibility not only to appraise achievements of Kuban agroindustrial complex, but also demonstrate one’s own advances in the sphere. Indeed, there are 32 big agricultural enterprises, nearly 940 farming enterprises and over 17 thousand private subsidiary farmings within the city. And I’m sure that as in previous years the fair will go off with a bang and grandly, — Vladimir Evlanov said.

«Kuban fair» occurs in Krasnodar for the third time. Chairman of Krasnodar Region Legislative Assembly Vladimir Beketov, Vice-governor of Kuban, Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of Krasnodar Region Sergey Garkusha, chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yuri Tkachenko participated in a solemn ceremony of the fair opening.

— Present-day fair is the demonstration of products of Kuban peasant farm enterprises’ and private subsidiary farmings’ labor. It shows that our agrarians have learnt to cultivate, process and produce with the support of the state. Today many regional programs are aimed to this purpose. In this year the number of the fair participators has increased by half and yet there is not enough place here for all guests. I’m sure that minor forms of husbandry will be successfully developing in our region and at the same time welfare of Kuban families will be enhanced, — Vladimir Beketov said.

After completion of official part Vladimir Evlanov together with chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko walked around exhibition pavilions and got acquainted with stands of Krasnodar private subsidiary farmings and minor farm enterprises. This year there are 68 participators from Krasnodar at the fair (previous year — 52). Overall area of Krasnodar expositions is 545 square meters.

Firstly they visited pavilion «Horticulture, winegrowing, flower gardening». Vladimir Evlanov and Vera Galushko had a look at several stands of Krasnodar horticultural enterprises. Director of farm of horticultural and decorative crops «ZIGSAD» Nikolay Shcherbakov conducted for Head of the city a master class for pruning of pear variety «Talgar Beauty», and his deputy Vasily Kekhaev told about particular qualities of this and other dwarf fruit trees presented at stand.

«Kuban fair 2013» works from October 10 to 13. It is opened from 10:00 to 18:00.

Total area of agroindustrial exhibition is 18 870 square meters. It takes 9 pavilions and is divided into 7 clusters: «Animal Industry», «Horticulture, winegrowing, flower gardening», «Crop growing», «Food products», «Fish breeding», «Folk craft goods», «Agricultural machinery, equipment, technologies». Business zone and pavilion of beekeeping products are created separately.

Annual agroindustrial exhibitions «Kuban fair» with participation of minor forms of husbandry are conducted from 2011 in concordance with a decree of Head (Governor) of Krasnodar Region administration.
