Throughout five years Krasnodar takes the first place in annual rating of the most advanced Russian cities made up by “Russian Reporter” magazine.
— Krasnodar is our absolute leader for many years. This city is not only ahead of competitors but has left them standing well behind. For example, speed of housing construction in Krasnodar is by two or three times greater than average performance of big cities in Russia. Krasnodar citizens are pleased with ecological situation: there are a number of parks and gardens within the city. Krasnodar is convenient for life. And yet there are some problems. For example — traffic jams. Indeed, this gives evidence of growth in prosperity. The city is friendly, it has developed hospitality industry: hotels, restaurants and recreation places, — Director General of Institute of Priority Regional Projects Nikolay Mironov said.
The rating is made up for seven years running. In this year the second place was taken by Tyumen, bronze went to Krasnoyarsk. Also top-10 includes Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Yaroslavl, Irkutsk and Perm.
Top-10 rating of the most advanced Russian cities has been compounded by value of development index which is based on statistical data and findings of sociological studies.
