Krasnodar ranks first among cities of Southern Federal District in index of investment activity

Administration of Krasnodar has carried out an analysis of the main indices of social and economic development of Kuban capital and a range of cities from SFD in 2014.

— The analysis of data demonstrated Krasnodar’s top position in 16 indices out of 31. Specialists studied volumes of own output, housing construction, paid services rendered to population, retail turnover, wages, labour market situation, the level of investment activity and a number of other important spheres of six SFD cities — Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Maikop, Volgograd, Elista and Astrakhan, — commented in the department of economic development, investments and external affairs of Krasnodar administration.

According to the analysis made, Krasnodar leads in the following indices:

• volume of own-produced and shipped goods, carried our works and rendered services (production and distribution of electric power, gas and water) by large and medium-sized enterprises;
• volume of own-produced and shipped goods, carried our works and rendered services (production and distribution of electric power, gas and water) per person;
• commissioning of residential houses at the cost of all sources of financing;
• amount of commissioned houses per one thousand people;
• retail turnover in large and medium-sized organizations of all kinds of activity per person;
• amount of sold products by large and medium-sized public catering enterprises;
• development of public catering system;  
• realization of products by large and medium-sized public catering enterprises per person;
• volume of paid services rendered to population by large and medium-sized organizations of all kinds of activity;
• volume of paid services per person;
• wage rate in large and medium-sized enterprises;
• growth rate of an average wage;
• unemployment level;
• investment activity level;
• volume of investments in fixed capital in large and medium-sized organizations per person.

Information exchange on the major indices of social and economic development between Krasnodar and a range of cities of Southern Federal District has been fulfilled since 1988.
