Evgeny Pervyshov: We need an effective Public Expert Council

At operational meeting held in Krasnodar City Hall Head of the city assigned tasks to work hard on the General Plan of the city, and in that regard to form the Public Expert Council on the city development to the Head of the capital of Kuban.

— The Public Expert Council will begin work with our municipal services in matters of amending the City General Plan which is to be reworked and in other questions related to the development of Krasnodar, landscaping, creating comfortable urban environment. That’s exactly why the Council should consist of literate, responsible and proactive people. As soon as possible we institute an executive committee — working body of the Council which at the first stage will set about organizational issues, — Evgeny Pervyshov said.

Also Head of Krasnodar set tasks to elaborate the General Plan — analyze 550 comments provided by citizens in the course of public hearings, single out those parts of the city planning document which are free of any serious claims and those which are obligatory to be corrected. First and foremost this relates to fixing green areas and bringing the General Plan into accordance with actual state of things in Krasnodar. These matters must be corrected within the shortest possible time. All the other aspects that are to be reworked will be submitted to the Public Council.

In the course of operational meeting Head of Krasnodar also informed that director of municipal unitary enterprise “Krasnodar Tram and Trolleybus Directorate” Aleksey Knyazev had retired from position by his own volition. Evgeny Pervyshov ordered his deputy Evgeny Zimenko to review thoroughly current situation at the enterprise and prepare proposals on its development. An introduction of new director of Krasnodar Tram and Trolleybus Directorate takes place soon.
