Under the instruction of Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov employees of the city administration, contracting organizations and business entities got down to putting sanitary order on entry roads, roadsides and at suburban tree belt areas.
— In Krasnodar sanitary two months have started in March. In the run-up to May holidays and the opening of the park season the city traditionally holds a city-wide Saturday clean-up. Prior to the day there are sanitary Fridays. Today participants of a “sanitary marathon” focused on garbage disposal and trees limewhiting on entry roads of Krasnodar, — a specialist of the department of communal services, fuel and energy sector said.
According to information provided by organizers, over 540 people took part in sanitary works in all urban districts of Krasnodar. 25 vehicles were involved in the works, nearly 6500 trees limewashed and 600 cubic meters garbage collected.
