Evgeny Pervyshov visited the municipal youth camp Dubrava

The Mayor of the capital of Kuban visited Krasnodar youth centre in Ubinskaya village of Seversky District, where the camp shift "Youth leader" is now under way.

"It's great that this municipal camp for teenagers has managed not only to preserve but also to create the necessary conditions for young citizens to stay. There's a perfect opportunity to rest, to get new knowledge and to make new friends. As a child, I loved to be in pioneer camps. And here at the Dubrava camp, this special atmosphere is also preserved. For our part, we will continue to develop it," said Evgeny Pervyshov while communicating with the participants of the shift.

Deputy Mayor of Krasnodar Sergey Luzinov and Chief of the department of youth affairs Georgy Pronkin also visited the Dubrava youth camp.

The camp shift "Youth leader" consists of 120 young people aged between 14 and 17 — representatives of various school-based self-governing structures who came from Krasnodar. At the time of Mayor's visit, it was the middle of the camp shift, which lasts 14 days.

Evgeny Pervyshov get acquainted with various activities that were held for the young people. In particular, he saw how "Dubrava Exchange" worked, how "deputies" from each camp squad hold sittings. He discussed with them the decisions that had been adopted and those being considered. One of them, inter alia, concerned the allocation of a space at the territory of Dubrava, where participants of different camp shifts could leave a memory of themselves.

At the camp stadium, teams of different squads played volleyball. Evgeny Pervyshov together with Sergey Luzinov and Georgy Pronkin joined them and played the game.

The sports ground is equiped with chinning bars and video surveillance system. There is now a need to repair the heating system — boiler-room and heating network. It is necessary to heat houses in the beginning of summer and also at night when it's cold enough in the forest. Evgeny Pervyshov noted that the development of the youth camp would continue.

The Mayor of Krasnodar also talked to the boys and girls of the camp in question-and-answer mode. The conversation took place on a ground in the center of Dubrava. After the opening speech of Krasnodar Mayor, each of the participants were able to ask him any questions. In particular, Evgeny Pervyshov was asked what principles were used to complete his team and what mission was set by him first of all?

"As the Mayor of the city, I have one aim — to do my job well, contribute to the development of the city, improve and create comfortable environment for all citizens," said Evgeny Pervyshov.

The Mayor of the capital of Kuban was asked whom he wanted to become being a child, how he spends his free time, what books he reads?

"Like all the boys in early childhood, I dreamt of becoming an astronaut. But when it was time to define the profession, restructuring in our country began and new priorities and opportunities emerged. After school I worked as a carpenter at the Sedin factory. It's the first record in my employment book. I served in the army. Then I entered Technical University and made decision to focus on political work," said Evgeny Pervyshov.

In response to the question about free time, Mayor of Krasnodar said that he spends time with the family and tries to pay attention to children as much as possible. There is rare possibility to read a book. He prefers classics. Among the favourite writers are Dostoyevsky and Pikul.
