Vladimir Evlanov: There can be no talk about closure of “Krasnodog”

Head of Krasnodar voiced support for the biggest in Kuban capital domestic animal shelter.

— I took part in creating “Krasnodog”. I consider it is essential to support this non-governmental organization in the following. The shelter has financial constraints now, they hardly survive. However municipal authorities cannot allocate funds from the budget — we have simply money just to cover the most pressing needs. I know that people themselves collect money to help homeless animals. All together we will be looking for an opportunity to solve existing problems, — Vladimir Evlanov said.

Krasnodar city charitable non-governmental organization “Krasnodog” started working in 2003. Presently it keeps homeless gods and cats, looks for their new owners, cures and sterilizes them. Also the organization arranges zoo therapy program for sick children. The program stipulates children’s communication with animals under supervision of specialists. School children from Krasnodar schools come to “Krasnodog” for lessons of kindness where they are told about the shelter habitants.
