At the corner of Rossijskaya and 40 Let Pobedy Streets a large-sized advertising construction was dismantled under the court decision as its leasing period is over.
— A month ago advertising construction owner was given an instruction to dismantle so called “supersite”. This was verified by a court decision but not carried out. So municipal authorities were pushed to demolish illegal large-sized advertising construction by their own efforts and expenses. All dismantling costs lie with owner of the construction. We are going to demolish another three “supersites” within ten following days although owners still have some time to dismantle their constructions by themselves, — chief of the department of municipal control Evgeny Naumov said.
Constructions to be dismantled are situated in intersection of Starokubanskaya and Selezneva Streets, at Liza Chaikina Street and Industrialnaya Street in the vicinity of “City Center”. Totally according to the department of municipal control no less than 4 thousand illegally installed wall advertisements, banners, scrollers and other outdoor advertisement constructions with expired leasing period will be dismantled in Krasnodar in the nearest future.
“Supersites” are large-sized outdoor advertisement constructions with external backlighting. Installed on a high 20 meters bearing it boosts an advertised product as well as let seeing this advertising image at a long distance. The most common size of supersite advertising surface (by width and height) is 15x5 m, 12x3 m, 12x4 m.
A new concept of outdoor advertisement constructions positioning was established by Krasnodar City Duma. In the end of previous year tenders for leasehold interest in advertising surfaces were held. As a result quantity of advertising surfaces will be reduced by more than twice in Kuban capital.
