Panel of judges have summarized the results of regional competition 2014 for the title of “The most well-furnished city of Kuban”. In the 1st category of cities with population over 100 thousand people Krasnodar won the first place.
Within regional competition there were also municipal and district contests for the title of the best settlement. This was to stimulate settlements to do their best in land improvement and making the proper sanitary condition locally.
Besides that, in period from March 31 to April 25 all municipal formations took part in All-Kuban month of cleanup and land improvement in cities and districts of the region.
Now as the winner in the main nomination of regional competition “The most well-furnished city of Kuban” Krasnodar receives prize money in the amount of some million roubles. The funds will be directed to urban land improvement and solving the most crucial tasks in housing and utility sphere.
In March 2015 specialists of the department of communal services submitted all necessary documents and colorful presentation booklet with picturesque scenes of the city and a film about Krasnodar to Moscow to participate in All-Russian competition for the title of “The most well-furnished urban (rural) settlement of Russia”.
