The youth jazz show orchestra “New wave” from the capital of Kuban became a participant of international project. Music festival “Come together” with participation of youth orchestras from sister cities took place in the German city Karlsruhe in the end of July.
— The orchestra “New wave” fascinated the local public with its eurhythmy, diverse repertoire and high professionalism. Oberburgermeister of Karlsruhe Frank Mentrup expressed sincere gratitude to the organizers of “New wave” orchestra’s trip to the festival. He also proposed to develop the cooperation between two our cities and countries, — one in Center of Children’s Crafts of Krasnodar said.
The youth festival was participated by youth bands from five cities of four countries: Krasnodar (Russia), Nottingham (England), Timisoara (Romania), Karlsruhe and Halle (Germany). The youth festival’s concerts were held in gymnasium of I. Kant and in St. Michael church. Besides that all of the collectives took part in annual rock festival “Das Fest” in Günther-Klotz-Anlage park of Karlsruhe.
Jazz show orchestra “New wave” guided by Merited Artist of Kuban Vladimir Gotliba visited Karlsruhe for the third time.
