The new green zone was formed and beautified inside the residential area in Komsomolskiy microdistrict. The opening ceremony was participated by Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov.
— Today, on Children's Day and the first day of summer vacations we open this boulevard which will become a decoration of the microdistrict and a gift for the local residents. Here we’ve done general improvement and landscaping works and created good conditions for children’s and adults’ leisure. Certainly we will continue works on development and landscaping different green areas of the city to raise the level of comfort and life quality of our citizens. In future in Krasnodar there will be more garden squares, parks and boulevards such as this one, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
The festive event dedicated to the boulevard opening and Children’s Day – June 1, was held at the territory of gymnasium №82, one of exits of which leads directly to the central alley of new green area. Over the day all visitors of the boulevard were entertained by animators; there were masterclasses for children. Young citizens were treated with ice creams.
The event was participated by Chairman of Krasnodar Region Legislative Assembly Vladimir Beketov, Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko and Head of Karasunskiy urban district Nikolay Khropov.
— Undoubtedly, the reconditioned boulevard is bringing positive emotions in this residential area. From now on young residents have the place where they can enjoy their free time together with parents, play and engage in sporting activities. The creation of such developed green areas should become a good tradition for Krasnodar to provide people of all ages with areas for comfortable leisure and spending free time, — Vladimir Beketov said.
When the official part of the event was over, all the guests walked over the boulevard, had a look at landscaping elements and talked to children and parents.
The landscaped pedestrian zone outlined with green plantings stretched inside the residential area. Here landscaping specialists have asphalted central alleys, cut trees, planted new greenery, mounted benches, arranged a sports ground with weight-lifting machines, two children playgrounds and two tennis tables.
Sports ground with special rubberized grip surface is fitted with 10 street body-builders, while children playgrounds have swing, slides and various play equipments.
Vladimir Evlanov emphasized that local authorities work up a question of creation similar developed green areas in the other parts of the city.
