The repair works on the memorial has been completed in the lead-up to the 75th anniversary of the Victory. All elements of sculptural composition were restored.

On February 12, 1943, Soviet troops dislodged the Hitler's occupiers from the capital of Kuban. Traditionally, a series of events dedicated to the memorable date was opened with a ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers, which was held on the square in front of the memorial "Victims of fascism" in Chistyakov grove. More than 5,5 thousand citizens took part in it. The Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Krasnodar Region Yuri Burlachko, Vice-Governor of Kuban Alexey Kopaigorodsky, the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov took part in the ceremony.

More than 14 thousand citizens of Krasnodar joined the All-Russia action devoted to Day of Memory and Grief. They went down Krasnaya Street from the Theatre Square to the memorial complex "Eternal flame" in the Square of Memory of Heroes and brought burning candles.

Solemn event dedicated to the 100th anniversary since the death of Commander-in-Chief of the Volunteer Army, General Lavr Kornilov, was held on April 14 in Krasnodar. Over two thousand residents of the city and region came to the memorial of Kornilov and victims of the civil war to honor the memory of died people.

The municipal Concert Hall gathered representatives of regional and city public organizations of the former minor prisoners of the camps, deputies of Krasnodar City Duma and members of youth movements, and students from 10 educational institutions of the city.

An exhibition of concept designs of sculpture composition — commemorative entrance sign to the Cossacks founders of Krasnodar was opened in the capital of Kuban. 23 works by nine authors and author groups are presented to the visitors.

Today traditional rally and ceremony of laying flowers to Memorial "To the victims of fascism" took place in Chistyakovskaya Grove of Krasnodar. Thousands of citizens, including Head of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov and Chairwoman of City Duma Vera Galushko came to pay the tribute to the memory of died people in years of the Great Patriotic War.
