The 14th Conference of Russian and German Partner Cities ended on 30 June in the capital of Kuban. The results were summed up at a ceremonial meeting in the Krasnodar Philharmonic of G.F. Ponomarenko. The city Mayor Evgeny Pervyshov addressed the people present.
Today, as part of the business programme of the Conference of Russian and German Partner Cities, the exhibition presenting successful German-Russian cooperation practices started in the lobby of the exhibition and congress complex "Expograd Yug".
Today, in the framework of the 14th Conference of Russian and German Partner Cities, Krasnodar officially joined the international declaration on energy efficiency and sustainable urban development, which has already been supported by 29 cities around the world.
Today a session "Economy: Russia and Germany — build the future together" took place at the exhibition and congress complex "Expograd Yug". The conversation was attended by Vice Governor of Krasnodar Region Igor Galas, responsible for the development of financial and economic spheres.
Within the framework of the business program of the Russian-German Forum, which takes place at the exhibition and congress complex (ECC) "Expograd Yug", 6 discussion sites were organized on the key areas of inter-municipal cooperation between the cities of Russia and Germany.
The Russian Foreign Minister and Vice Chancellor, the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany held the press conference for foreign and Russian media following the opening ceremony of the 14th Conference of Russian and German Partner Cities in Krasnodar.
The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Vice Chancellor, the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Sigmar Gabriel arrived in the capital of Kuban to take part in the opening of the 14th Conference of Russian and German Partner Cities that takes place in Krasnodar in period June 28-30. The ceremony was attended by Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev and Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov.
Krasnodar Philharmonic of G.F. Ponomarenko hosts the opening of the Conference "Establishing contacts — initiating projects — building confidence: impetus for the development of the German-Russian ties". The international Forum is attended by politicians, public figures, Mayors of the sister cities of Russia and Germany. The Conference was welcomed by Mayor of Krasnodar.
Following the opening ceremony, the participants representing sister cities of the two countries began work in 18 joint focus groups. Each round table brought together young people from one Russian and one German city, which became sister cities in different years. Krasnodar citizens worked together with friends and colleagues from the sister city of Karlsruhe.
The Youth Forum opening ceremony was held at Kuban State Technological University. Vice-Governor of Krasnodar Region Sergey Altukhov welcomed the forum participants.
