The Mayor of regional centre Evgeny Pervyshov held an official meeting with a delegation of the city of Kocaeli (the Republic of Turkey). The parties discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, as well as the possibility of establishing sister cities relations.
Prospects of cooperation were discussed at the working meeting of the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov, chief economist-expert of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Olga Polikarpova and representative of the BRICS New Development Bank Charlie Tian.
The official entry into force of the tripartite Treaty between Krasnodar, Karlsruhe (Germany) and Nancy (France) took place in the municipal hall. The sister-city Agreement between Krasnodar and Nancy was also enacted. The ceremony was participated by the Mayors Evgeny Pervyshov, Frank Mentrup and Laurent Hénart.
The project for the organization of a citywide bicycle rental network was presented at the meeting in the city administration. Lucky-sharing Ltd has experience of creation of similar service in Almetyevsk (Tatarstan). The Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov participated in the meeting.
The city Mayor told about the strategy development during the plenary session of the XII Interregional forum of the largest companies of the Southern Federal District, which takes place in Krasnodar.
Event dedicated to the closing of the Year of Russian-German regional and municipal partnerships was held in Berlin. At the ceremony of summing up the Year the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Heiko Maas handed the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov honorary diploma for a significant contribution to the development of regional-municipal cooperation between Russia and Germany.

The possibility of the forums implementation were discussed at an official meeting between the Mayor of the city Evgeny Pervyshov and the Consul General of the Republic of Cyprus in Krasnodar Elias Mavrokefalos. Five students from Karlsruhe, Nancy and Harbin for nearly a month — from August 4 to September 1 — do practical work at the enterprises of the regional capital. Official reception of the youth delegation from sister cities of Krasnodar was held in the City Hall on August 10. The event was attended by Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov and Chairwoman of the City Duma Vera Galushko.
