Krasnodar took the first place among cities of Southern Federal District in the context of business strength

Analytical center “Expert Yug” has composed a rating of business development in cities of Southern Russia. Krasnodar City has taken the lead in it.

— This high rating will allow reducing of borrowing costs for regional center at credit and stock markets as well as creating of favorable conditions for Krasnodar enterprises and organizations to attract investments, — one in the department of economic development, investments and external affairs of Krasnodar administration commented.

Results of expert overview were posted at the web-site of “Expert Yug” on July 24.  

Analysts of “Expert Yug” center positively pointed out high indicators of economic development — consumer, productive and social factors of the development of Krasnodar.  

 Also the analytical center specialists remarked a high level of average monthly salary of Krasnodar citizens, a great many of commissioned residential houses per capita and capital investments.

Krasnodar is one of leaders of investment development within the region. In 2012 the city has attracted 362,56 thousand roubles of investments per capita (without small business entities). Having attracted by seven times less investments Rostov-on-Don ranks next to Krasnodar. Volgograd takes the third place. Level of residential houses commissioning made 1,78 square meters per capita in Krasnodar in this year. This indicator is one of the highest all over the country.

According to the specialists of the department of economic development, investments and external affairs foreign investors play a significant part in economic success of Krasnodar. More than 400 foreign-owned enterprises including so well-known world brands as “Philip Morris”, “Cargill Yug”, “CLAAS”, “Knauf”, “Raiffeisen Bank” and “BSGV” work in the city. Many of them exist in Krasnodar for over 15 years.
