Today the results of social and economic development of the capital of Kuban in the first half-year 2016 were summed up at the working meeting chaired by Acting Head of Krasnodar Alexander Mikheev in Krasnodar City Hall.
— The dynamics of major branches of the city economy is positive, higher than an average throughout the region. We are to try to keep the tendency in the following by interacting closely with the local enterprises and organizations, — Alexander Mikheev remarked.
According to information provided by Director of the department of economic development, investments and external affairs Elena Vasilchenko in the first half of 2016 the volume of produced goods by large and medium-sized industrial enterprises of Krasnodar amounted to 67,5 billion roubles. Compared to the same period of the past year the indicator has grown by 7,6 billion roubles or almost 13 per cent.
Large and medium-sized enterprises engaged in processing industry have manufactured goods and rendered services amounting to almost 29 billion roubles — over 12 per cent growth in comparison with the past year.
Volume of goods produced in agricultural sector has increased almost by 8 per cent or 143 million roubles – its total amount reached almost 2 billion roubles.
Amount of executed works in the construction reached almost 13 billion roubles that is by 2,3 per cent higher than the indicator of the past year. Within six months more than 1 million sq.m. of housing have been commissioned. Consumer market has been also in growth — retailment turnover has increased by 1,7 per cent, catering — by 2 per cent, volume of paid services to population remained at the level of the past year.
In the first half year average monthly wage at large and medium-sized enterprises of Krasnodar has grown by 4 per cent and amounted to 38,8 thousand roubles, unemployment rate was marked at the point 0,3 per cent.
