Prospects for the creation and development of industrial parks at the territory of Krasnodar Region as well as mechanisms for the support of these parks were discussed during teleconference chaired by Kuban Governor Alexander Tkachev. Its work was participated by Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov.
— This year leaving Rostov-on-Don behind, Krasnodar Region moved up to the first position in Southern Federal District in terms of industrial production. To keep this pace we should attract investments into industrial complex of the region. Today Kuban is in need of new industrial enterprises. The creation of industrial parks which are most attractive for investors has a big potential in this context. Current rate of gross regional product is 10% and we have to increase it at least twice as large by 2020, — Alexander Tkachev said.
Teleconference was participated by Vice-Governors of Kuban Vadim Lukoyanov and Ivan Peronko, Heads of a range of regional municipalities, chiefs of the largest transport, industrial, fuel-and-energy companies carrying out their activity on the territory of Krasnodar Region.
During the conference they talked about industrial development of Kuban, primarily through the creation of industrial parks. According to Vadim Lukoyanov as of today administration of Krasnodar Region has defined 5 municipalities where industrial parks will be formed. Krasnodar, Armavir, Apsheronsk, Abinsk and Taman are in the list. Each industrial park will vary from one another. For example, industrial park of Apsheronsk will be specialized in processing of timber and furniture trade, Taman’s park in oil and gas industry, in Abinsk – metallurgy and metalwork.
Krasnodar’s industrial park at the territory of Eastern Industrial Zone will become the largest one. As of today’s date first 66 hectares are allocated for these purposes and eventually the territory can be expanded up to 300 hectares. Currently authorities are carrying out the work on attracting residents for location of their plants there.
As Vadim Lukoyanov stated, CJSC Tander (Management Company of Magnit retail chain) is ready to become an anchor investor of industrial park in Krasnodar. The creation of the park has been already commenced and will be finished by 2018-2019. Nearly 2500 new workplaces will appear in the capital of Kuban after implementation of the first stage of industrial park.
Magnit retail chain CEO Sergey Galitskiy who participated in the meeting remarked that in the following 10 years the company is going to open about 40 new plants around the country, at that 14 of them are to be launched in industrial park of Krasnodar.
— This is the most convenient territory for us because the closer manufacture is the easier it can be managed. This will be very fast implementation and, certainly, interesting project for the city, — Sergey Galitskiy said.
Presently regional and municipal authorities are working over issues related to provision of industrial park territory with engineering utilities to create necessary conditions for investors.
— We are committed to solve the issue as quick as possible. Particularly we have already defined two grounds within Eastern Industrial Zone for location of kV 220/110 and 110/10 substations. Implementation of these plans enables the city to extend tax base and get new workplaces. So we are surely interested in that the project to be implemented and for our part we will contribute to the process, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
Also the conference participants mentioned measured aimed at supporting investors that are ready to set to implementation of their projects within the territory of forming industrial zones in Krasnodar Region.
