III annual conference “100 steps to a favourable investment climate” organized by Strategic Initiative Agency (SIA) in partnership with newspaper Vedomosti takes place in Moscow today. Vladimir Evlanov participates in a business program of the forum.
— The share of small and medium-sized businesses in Krasnodar’s economy is rather high. Our city has been repeatedly recognized by authoritative economic publications as the city with comfortable business environment and the city attractive for investors. And of course, we are motivated to keep up hardly earned positions in the segment and stimulate its sustainable growth. The conference raises a wide array of topics on present-day trends and state policy in the area of the development small and medium-sized enterprises and it is undoubtedly of great interest for us, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
The conference takes place in Moscow for the third year in a row and it has gathered representative participants. Representatives of government departments (the Russian Federation government, Federal Ministries and regional administrations), controlling agencies, Governors of the Russian Federation territorial entities and mayors of the cities, Ministers for economy, top and middle level managers of international and Russian companies, financial institutions, representatives of public organizations and professional associations, shareholders and investors, business owners, market experts and analysts, advisers and journalists are among invited guests and speakers.
The discussion focused on a wide array of questions related to the creation of comfort environment for the development of enterprises, taxation and subsidizing business entities correlated with the Russian economic reality. The conference which is being held regularly since 2012 is participated by Krasnodar Head for the first time ever.
The schedule of conference program is set up for the whole day. In the morning Vladimir Evlanov participated in business breakfast which focused on “Regional teams for efficient management of territories” and attended plenary meeting.
Key topic of the discussion was the improvement of investment climate in relation to business and authorities. In the course of plenary meeting they talked about major aspects of business dealing in Russia, what specific steps should be taken in 2015-2016 for its development and how proposals of business for authorities and proposals of authorities for business must look.
Also the conference program includes parallel round tables on “Small business and recent tax initiatives”, “Integrated system of investors support”, “Reform of control and supervisory functions”, “Assessment and cadastre”, “Atlas of municipal practices: mechanism for implementation and assessment”, “Sample purchases as monitoring instrument of road maps implementation.”
