International public project — car run “Our Great Victory” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War grandly started in Sevastopol.
— The car run will symbolically connect ceremonial festive actions throughout the country into one patriotic relay, — organizers said.
Participants will take part in the solemn event “Relay of memory”. They will lay flowers to monument of soldiers - liberators of Krasnodar. The event will be participated by more than 300 representatives of non-government associations, youth patriotic clubs and Cossacks.
Besides that on March 22 it is planned to hold a meeting with Krasnodar Region non-government organization “Brothers in arms” in Museum of military equipment “Weapon of Victory” to the address Krasina St., 2.
The car run route “Our Great Victory” passes through more than 100 cities of Russia, including Hero-cities, Cities of Military Glory and those cities awarded the Order of The Patriotic War of the 1-st Class. The car run will finish at Red Square on May 9. It is expected that car relay participants will spread scale copy of Victory Banner in every city they go through.
