As compared to the previous year tourist forum has grown by its square and number of participant. 148 countries and regions including constituent entities representing more than 1,5 thousand corporate exhibitors presented their tourist possibilities.
— At exhibition tourist industry of Krasnodar is presented in electronic form by means of developed application “Krasnodar tour guide” available in Аpp Store (available on iPhone) and Google play (Android application) as well as through specifically prepared for “Intourmarket” hand-outs: books of Krasnodar sights, English and Russian language maps of Kuban capital with indications of the main tourist routes and souvenirs with city’s symbols, — specialists in the department of economic development, investments and external affairs of Krasnodar administration informed.
In the course of the exhibition work Krasnodar delegation had meetings with representatives of municipalities from Rostov, Volgograd and Yekaterinodar Regions. Parties achieved an agreement about farther collaborative work focused on tourism development in municipal formations, cooperation on projects of tourist programs of municipalities and experience exchange.
Krasnodar is also presented by a popular tourist magazine “Recreation in Kuban.ru” which publishes virtually in its every issue articles about Krasnodar, city’s infrastructure, tourism possibilities, projects and events.
Krasnodar delegation took part in all key events during the exhibition work: study seminar of World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and Federal Tourism Agency devoted to innovative marketing instruments and IT-technologies in the field of modern tourism industry, All-Russian tourism development conference. Krasnodar citizens participated in a board session of Russian Union of Tourist Industry, roundtable discussions “Social tourism modern technologies”, “Practical aspects and development prospects of the federal program “Recreation””, “Children’s recreation and tourism in Russia. Development prospects and barriers in the sphere”, “Health and recreation tourism in the Russian Federation: the current state, prospects and problems”.
The exhibition works beginning from March 16 to March 18. III Convention of public tourist associations of Russia organized by the Russian Tour Operators Association will be held on a closing day.
Another largest international tourist exhibition - XXI Moscow International exhibition “MITT/Travels and tourism” will start working on March 19, 2014. This will be also participated by delegation from Krasnodar.
