Delegation from Krasnodar took a range of meetings and talks within the framework of business program of jubilee X International tourist exhibition “Inturmarket (ITM) 2015” which was opened on March 14 in IEC “Krokus Expo”.
— As in previous years, participation of Krasnodar delegation in international exhibition is aimed to enhance the tourist flow, establish new business contacts as well as to form package tours with due consideration of the latest trends in world tourism, — municipal department of economic development, investments and external affairs commented.
The largest in the country international tourist forum started working last Saturday. Its ceremonial opening was participated by Head of Rostourism Oleg Safonov, Deputy Minister of transport of the RF Valery Okulov, Executive Director of World Tourism Organization Zoltan Shomogi, Governor of Altai Region Alexander Karlin, Chairman of the Committee on Tourism and Hotel Management of Moscow Sergey Shpilko and Minister of culture of Moscow Region Oleg Rozhnov.
The tenth jubilee exhibition “Inturmarket” is organized with the assistance of the Russian Federation Government, Federal Tourism Agency, the Committee on Tourism and Hotel Management of Moscow, World Tourism Organization, the Russian Tour Operators Association and the Russian Union of Travel Industry.
This year programs and proposals at “Inturmarket” were submitted by nearly 1500 companies from various regions and countries. Totally the exhibition gathered over 140 countries and regions. Particularly, 76 regions of Russia present their opportunities in the sphere of tourism.
Krasnodar’s exposition is presented as part of consolidated stand “Resorts of Krasnodar Region” which takes the area of more than 100 square meters.
During first two days of work, Krasnodar delegation conducted a range of meetings and talks, including with municipalities of Rostov-on-Don Region, Stavropol Region and the Republic of Adygeya. The parties achieved arrangements for the following cooperation aimed at the development of tourist branch in municipalities, carrying out city breaks in such cities as Yessentuki, Maikop, Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog and others.
The city delegation also participated in the session of Regional Council of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, in all-Russian meeting on current issues of tourist sphere development, in conference “Tourism as the main factor for the development of small historical cities of Russia”, in roundtable discussions on: “Business arrangements in Russia. Stable development of the branch — indicator of social and economic image” and “Tourism in the behoof of the older generation”.
In the last day of the exhibition work, Krasnodar delegation will attend the X conference on IT-technologies, advertisement and management in tourism “Recreation in Russia in the context of sanctions — prospects and opportunities”.
On March 18, 2015 another largest international tourist exhibition – XXII Moscow international exhibition Mitt 2015 “Travels and tourism” will start working. Krasnodar will participate in that exhibition too.
