Krasnodar tourism potential is represented at exhibitions in Moscow

The capital of Kuban is represented at two exhibitions in Moscow: "Intourmarket" and "Mitt/Travel and tourism".

— The participation of Krasnodar's delegation in international exhibitions is aimed at increasing the flow of tourists, establishing new business contacts with partners, creating the conditions for the effective development of the tourism industry, and at the international level promoting the image of Kuban capital as a tourists-friendly city. Favourable climate conditions, developed transport infrastructure, many exhibition sites, the abundance of cultural and historical sights, theatres, museums, entertainment facilities, diversity of Kuban and European cuisine in the city cafeterias, restaurants — all of this makes the capital of Kuban attractive to tourists — an employee of Krasnodar City department of economic development, investments and external affairs commented.

Specialists of the department added that recently the event tourism has gained popularity. It will be actively developed through the interaction of Tourist Information Center and cultural, youth, sports and education institutions of Krasnodar. The holding of mass tourism activities is a good tradition that attracts more tourists to Krasnodar.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko, the Russian Federation Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky, Head of Federal Agency for Tourism Oleg Safonov attended the opening ceremony of "Intourmarket" exhibition.

The delegation of Krasnodar Region was led by the Minister of Resorts, Tourism and the Olympic Heritage of the Region, Christopher Konstantinidi.

Beside Krasnodar, the Region was represented by large sanatorium and spa resorts and hotels of Sochi, Gelendzhik, Anapa, Novorossiysk, Goryachy Klyuch and also Tuapse, Absheronsk, Yeysk and Temryuk districts at the consolidated exhibition stand of Krasnodar Region.

"Intourmarket" exhibition is a profile tourist site intended to expand the intra-industry dialogue and cross-sectoral links which help to generate principally new and quality tourism products and to raise the level of service in the industry.
