Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov was in Krasnodar Region delegation which visited the Republic of Adygea today. During the meeting temporary acting Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev and Head of Adygeya Aslan Tkhakushinov have signed bilateral friendship and cooperation agreement between constituent entities.
— It is a special event for Krasnodar, we support it all over. Our city is immediately on the border with Adygeya and in the course of the years warm and friendly relations have established between us. Contacts are set in many spheres, including those ones at the level of Krasnodar urban districts and districts of Adygeya. I guess that the signed agreement will give additional impetus to the development of close and fruitful cooperation in future, — Vladimir Evlanov commented.
Chairman of Krasnodar Region Legislative Assembly Vladimir Beketov, First Vice-Governor of Kuban Dzhambulat Khatuov, Vice-Governors Vladimir Svezhenets and Nikolay Doluda, Heads of regional municipalities were also in the delegation.
One of the items on the agenda of one-day visit was the meeting of Krasnodar Region delegation and chiefs of government and local self-governing bodies, representatives of Adygeya community on the matter of various aspects of the cooperation. Vladimir Evlanov also took part in it.
The main outcome of the meeting was the signing of friendship and cooperation agreement between Krasnodar Region and the Republic of Adygeya.
— The history of relations between Krasnodar Region and the Republic of Adygeya is, primarily, an example of wisdom of two peoples that live nearby. Over the year we have managed to preserve brotherly and warm relations; through joint efforts we continue to resolve important political and economic tasks and the main thing is that we respect traditions, culture and religion of each other. This is fundamental. I am sure that this will go on, — Veniamin Kondratiev said.
The document touches a range of aspects of cooperation such as rulemaking, state regulation of tariffs, widening of trade-economic contacts, cooperation in the sphere of healthcare, education, agricultural sector, in sanitary-resort branch.
In his turn Aslan Tkhakushinov underlined that the signing of the agreement at the level of constituent entities creates additional opportunities for the development of bilateral cooperation between capital cities of both regions and their leaders – Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov and Head of Maikop Alexander Narolin. At that, Head of the Republic of Adygeya does not exclude the possibility of a similar agreement between two municipalities.
- Alexander Vladimirovich and I are not only aquainted, we also render each other help and support. We intercommunicate and set up plans for the joint work. We are aimed at close cooperation and its development, - Vladimir Evlanov said in this regard.
In the course of the visit members of Kuban delegation also attended republican stadium “Druzhba” as well as sports and recreation center with a swimming pool which are now under reconstruction.
