Krasnodar markets and retail complexes will be modernized

Vladimir Evlanov held a working meeting with chiefs of markets situated within city’s territory. Krasnodar Head set a task to develop projects of wholesale and retail trade facilities renovation in the shortest possible period of time. 

— Consumer’s market of Krasnodar is well-developed —  proceeds rate of trade enterprises activity in municipal budget is rather big. At the same time sanitary conditions and look of city’s markets are being perpetually criticized. Retail facilities don’t meet current town-planning requirements. The situation has to be changed due to orders of Governor and regional headquarters for the development and Krasnodar land improvement and we should carry out a reconstruction of markets,  — Vladimir Evlanov underlined.

Chief of the department of trade and consumer services of Krasnodar administration Irina Kosinkova informed that presently there are claims and serious remarks to all Krasnodar markets according to findings of a fulfilled monitoring, so all these consumer’s market facilities will undergo profound changes provided that half measures are inadmissible.

— Depending on a market’s capacity within a period of one week or at maximum 14 days principals of all markets and retail complexes have to enquire with an architect bureau and order design projects for reconstruction of their markets and adjacent territories. Then they are to obtain necessary approvals of developed projects in the department of architecture and city construction of Krasnodar administration so as to commence reconstruction works in the shortest time,  — Vladimir Evlanov set task.

Changes will have respect to both major trade facilities such as Cooperative Market, market “Mikhail”, Eastern Market and small complexes of Krasnodar. At that all wholesale and retail trade facilities of the city will be reduced to a single architectural look using advanced materials.

Chief architect of the city Igor Mazurok said that street retail must be vanished from adjacent territories as well as trade pavilions released from illegal advertisement though common efforts of architects, markets’ chiefs and Krasnodar administration.

Participants of the meeting were of the same mind — it is necessary to speed the work on bringing Krasnodar markets, particularly situated in the central part of the city and at guest routes in order in line with instructions of Kuban Governor.

— We need promptly to arrange a system of coordinated approvals, elaborate recommendations related to new projects of markets improvement and post them on the official web-site of administration of Krasnodar City municipal formation and Krasnodar city Duma. In the shortest possible time we have to develop principles of changes in appearance of trade facilities so as every entrepreneur could apply them to one’s certain conditions and one’s own original design, — Vladimir Evlanov remarked and gave chief architect of Krasnodar Igor Mazurok an order to prepare and carry out a meeting on prospective development of city’s advertisement and design in consumer’s market.

Mayor emphasized that chiefs of markets and retail complexes should comprehend all seriousness of set tasks and that they have to act promptly and systematically.
