Addressing the deputies of Krasnodar City Duma and the city community Vladimir Evlanov reviewed economic results of the city for 2014. At that he gave a detailed characteristic of real sector of economy, execution of municipal budget and pinpointed attention upon reserves of industrial growth.
— Despite all difficulties that had become apparent since autumn, Krasnodar’s economy demonstrated growth almost in all directions. We know our advantages: the city economy is diversified; there are well-developed small and medium-sized businesses, actively developing industrial sector and good potential for the agricultural sector. All of this helped us to overcome the crisis of 2008-2009 without major shocks and we intend to use all these advantages in current uneasy economic circumstances, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
Having done a comparative analysis of Krasnodar’s indicators for the decade 2004-2014, Kuban capital Head moved to the results and achievements of the past year.
The city budget received 24,7 billion roubles. At that, the city administration earned own revenues in the volume of over 13,5 billion roubles.
The industry has stepped up appreciably. For the last three years in the rating of 250 largest industrial centers of Russia, Krasnodar has gained 21 points and now takes the 40th place being ahead of such large industrial centers as Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk.
Manufacturing output of medium and large-sized industrial enterprises of Krasnodar made 238 billion roubles in 2014, which is by 12 percent higher the level of 2013.
The greatest progress was recorded in food production, wood processing and woodwork production, oil and chemical production.
Along with that industrial enterprises of the city undergo the upgrading, develop new kind of products which are able to compete in the domestic and external markets. Five technoparks now are functioning within the city.
Vladimir Evlanov marked that very big prospects in industrial sector are associated with the implementation of the largest project — Eastern Industrial Zone (EIZ). Its intensive development is being carried out. 66 hectares of it have been already allocated for anchor investor — the company of Sergey Galitskiy “Tander” that manages “Magnit” supermarket chain. Within Eastern Industrial Zone it is supposed to deploy a number of plants for the production of food and other goods.
Therefore, the biggest Russian retailer continues widening and completes the full cycle – from the growing of fruits and vegetables to its processing and sale. It is a very topical issue now, especially in the light of realizing aims on import substitution, - Vladimir Evlanov said.
Additionally Krasnodar Head emphasized that well-known in the past industrial enterprises are returning back into Krasnodar’s economy. One of them – Compressor plant which has renewed the production line and now works efficiently with the use of up-to-date technologies.
Vladimir Evlanov announced other figures too. The volume of retail turnover reached almost 145 billion roubles.
The volume of paid services has grown by 4,3 percent in comparison with 2013 and exceeded 65 billion roubles. The volume of communications services has increased by 7 percent and made 39 billion roubles.
The investments into a fixed capital of Krasnodar enterprises exceeded 220 billion roubles in the past year making 43 percent of overall investments in the region.
Credit rates have also increased prominently. Banks of Krasnodar provided loans to legal persons for the total amount of 550 billion roubles that is by 10 percent higher the level of 2013.
