Veniamin Kondratiev and Vladimir Evlanov make a working tour around Krasnodar

Acting Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev jointly with Krasnodar Head visited one of new areas of the capital of Kuban – Moskovskiy microdistrict which is now actively developing.

— It is important for our city to create comfort environment. Krasnodar is the city of greenery, flowers and sun. A great number of green spaces in the city is the special feature of Krasnodar and it is worth a lot. However comfort environment is composed of many aspects. Kindergartens, schools, parkings and green spaces, all of this should be in sufficient amount and we are to work on this, — Veniamin Kondratiev said.

The prime objective of the tour is to take knowledge of social infrastructure and land improvement of a new microdistrict. During the past year two new kindergartens in Artyushkova Street, 13 and 17 with 180 places each were opened in addition to existing three ones. At the end of March of this year the microdistrict acquired mini-policlinic, local district police center and Russian post office.

At the approaches to the microdistrict Veniamin Kondratiev and Vladimir Evlanov gave a look-over a part of boulevard along Solnechnaya Street which is being constructed and created by founder and joint holder of retail network “Magnit” Sergey Galitskiy. Along the whole length of the boulevard from Moskovskaya to Rossiyskaya Streets there are walking paths, just-planted trees and bushes, green lawns with benches and litter-boxes.

— Nowadays representatives of business community themselves show initiative in arranging and improving green areas at the city territories, and this boulevard is the best possible example for that end, — Vladimir Evlanov said.

Veniamin Kondratiev highly estimated the work done and also pointed out that if a buffer zone between houses and traffic way was not provided, it would be problematic to create such a boulevard here.

— Such well-improved territories create special mood in the city, make it more comfortable for living. And it became possible here because a green area was initially stipulated in the project for this place. It is exactly the conception to be followed in the future, — Veniamin Kondratiev said.

The landscaping subject was raised again in one of inner yards of Moskovskiy microdistrict, which according to Veniamin Kondratiev is starkly contrasting with the boulevard in Solnechnaya Street and looks like “stone jungles”. In order to make a modern and comfortable district from an ordinary dormitory Moskovskiy microdistrict, Veniamin Kondratiev considers that it is necessary to plant a lot more trees with already shaped heads and create small garden squares. In the course of examining the microdistrict temporary acting Governor of Kuban highlighted a number of issues related to availability of social facilities and further development.

The construction of Moskovskiy microdistrict has started in 2008, planned dates for the completion — until 2020.
